For boys and girls entering grades 1 - 6 (kindergarteners may attend half days)

Camp Schedule and Weekly Themes (the weekly theme occurs in the morning with electives each afternoon):
JUNE 13 - 17: WORLD CUP SOCCER: Campers get their kicks at the World Cup Soccer Camp! Players learn foot skills, passing, shooting, goalkeeping, and team concepts. Each day, they are also divided by gender and skill level and participate in games. The last few days of camp, small teams represent a country and participate in a fun World Cup competition.
JUNE 20 - 24: ULTIMATE WARRIOR: Age-appropriate and safe activities specifically designed to challenge, inspire, and excite. Games and tasks this week include obstacle courses, relays, tug-of-war, and many other fun activities designed to teach cooperation and teamwork while also helping campers develop self-esteem.
JUNE 27 - JULY 1: FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING: Football players will have a blast playing games and learning the basic fundamentals in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. Cheerleaders will learn a variety of cheers, jumps, kicks and movements. We'll also play fun cheerleading games and create cheerleading themed crafts.
JULY 5 - JULY 8: ALL-AMERICAN SPORTS: Campers have some fun learning about our country and celebrating the 4th! We will focus on truly American games, including Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, basketball and more! We will also have a cool patriotic crafts project.
JULY 11 - 15: SURVIVOR CAMP: All the fun of the TV show without getting voted off. Campers will be divided into Tribes and comets in fun team challenges and races every day. Hidden idols, secret advantages, race ending puzzles will all be a part of the fun! We will have a Tribal Council every day, but instead of voting anyone out, campers will vote on a Survivor of the day, rewarding one camper from each team for his or her strong efforts, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
JULY 18 - 22: STICKS AND STONES: We will have some fun with all of your favorite stick sports! Campers play lacrosse, hockey, wiffle ball, baseball, and more. Instruction in passing, catching, positioning, and defending in both lacrosse and hockey.
JULY 25 - 29: OLYMPICS: The Olympics are coming to Fairview Park! Children are grouped by age and divided into countries to learn about track and field and many other Olympic sports. Campers learn about the culture and history of their adopted country and make a flag to carry at the "Closing Ceremonies" and "Presentation of Medals".
AUGUST 1 - 5: HOOP IT UP BASKETBALL: Basketball players have a blast learning the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, defense, and rebounding in a fun-oriented program that utilizes creative team and individual drills and games. The week culminates in a fun 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament!
Flexible Hours: The camp meets daily from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM with options for alternative schedules.
Extended Camp Care Options:
Before Camp Care: 7:30 - 9:00 AM
After Camp Care: 3:00 - 6:00 PM
Half-Day Options:
Morning Session: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Afternoon Session: 12:00 - 3:00 PM

Leadership Program: Returning campers in grades 7-9 may apply for a position as a Junior Counselor. Children accepted into this program may attend camp as a JC and the fees are 50% of the normal fees. To apply, please email info@jumpstartsports.com.
Camp Fees:
All Eight (8) Weeks: $1160 Gemini Center members; $1240 Fairview Park residents; $1320 non-residents
Any One Week: $155 Gemini Center members; $165 Fairview Park residents; $175 non-residents (email info@jumpstartsports.com for discount if registering for four to seven weeks)
NOTE: Priority registration for members ends on March 31; resident and non-resident registration begins April 1.
