Cleveland Heights Summer Fun Camp

For boys and girls entering grades K - 6

Half Day and Before/After Care Camp Options Available

Staffed at an 8:1 ratio with well qualified Directors and Counselors

Camp Schedule and Weekly Themes (the weekly theme occurs in the morning with electives each afternoon) 

6/1 - 6/5: READY SET GO: Kick off the summer with by participating with your friends in your favorite camp games and activities!  This includes Capture the Flag, Tag Games, Relay Races, Whiffle Ball, Kickball, and more! 

6/8 - 6/12: SURVIVOR CAMP: Survivor Camp: All the fun of the TV show without getting voted out. Campers will be divided into Tribes and compete in fun team challenges and races every day. Hidden idols, secret advantages, race ending puzzles will all be a part of the fun! We will have a Tribal Council every day, but instead of voting anyone out, campers will vote on the a Survivor of the Day, rewarding one camper from each team for his or her strong effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

6/15 - 6/19: ALL PRO FLAG FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING CAMP: Football players will have a blast playing games and learning the basic fundamentals in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. Cheerleaders will learn a variety of cheers, jumps, kicks and movements. We'll also play fun cheerleading games and create cheerleading themed crafts. Campers will also decorate t-shirts to wear at the exhibition on the last day of camp.

6/22 - 6/26: ULTIMATE WARRIOR CAMP: Age-appropriate and safe activities specifically designed to challenge, inspire, and excite. Games and tasks this week include obstacle courses, relays, tug-of-war, and many other fun activities designed to teach cooperation and teamwork while also helping campers develop self-esteem.

6/29 - 7/2  ALL AMERICAN WEEK: (NO CAMP JULY 3rd!) Have some fun learning about our country and celebrating the 4th! We will focus on truly American games, including Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Basketball and more! We will also have a cool patriotic crafts project. 

7/6 - 7/10: WORLD CUP SOCCER: Campers get their kicks at the World Cup Soccer Camp! Players learn foot skills, passing, shooting, goalkeeping, and team concepts. Each day, they are also divided by gender and skill level and participate in games. The last few days of camp, small teams represent a country and participate in a fun Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??World CupÃ????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢?? competition.

7/13 - 7/17: AMAZING RACE: Cleveland Heights Amazing Race Camp: Campers will participate in a fun race every day, with cool sports challenges at each stop, just like on the TV show! WeÃ????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??ll emphasize teamwork and cooperation in these fun challenges.

7/20 - 7/24: STICKS & STONES: We'll have some fun with all of your favorite stick sports! Campers play lacrosse, hockey, whiffle ball, baseball, and more.

7/27 - 7/31: OLYMPICS CAMP: The Olympics are coming to the Heights! Children are grouped by age and divided into countries to learn about track and field and many other Olympic sports. Campers learn about the culture and history of their adopted country and make a flag to carry at the "Closing Ceremonies" and "Presentation of Medals".  

8/3 - 8/7 HOOP IT UP BASKETBALL CAMP: Players have a blast learning the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, defense, and rebounding in a fun-oriented program that utilizes creative team and individual drills and games. The week culminates in a fun  3 on 3 Basketball Tournament!

Flexible Hours: The camp meets daily from 9:00AM - 3:00PM with options for alternative schedules.

Extended Camp Care Options:

Before Camp Care: 7:30AM - 9:00AM

After Camp Care: 3:00PM - 6:00PM
